Welcome
Around Harvard
Looking back -- and ahead
We don’t build each issue of HMI WORLD around a common theme, but sometimes those themes emerge on their own. The one that jumps out to me in the November-December 2007 issue is outputs. The majority of HMI’s work is undertaken as part of long-term collaborative partnerships. For our partners, change is incremental—more evolution from day to day than revolution that occurs overnight. Still, as articles in this issue demonstrate, many of our partnerships have matured to the point where we can point to results, measure progress, and feed what we learn back into our work. Each partnership is becoming a case study of its own.
One other thing: we have launched the HMI Blog in order to bring you more news, more information, more often. You’ll see the icon for the HMI Blog on the left side of our front page – just click and go, and feel free to leave comments and take part in the discussion.
